Guayana is a sustainability professional and dedicated yogini committed to making yoga and meditation accessible for personal transformation and social change through a deep connection with nature.

Believing that We are Nature, We are the Earth, she emphasizes the link between inner transformation, collective well-being, and sustainability. She sees mindfulness, presence, and self-exploration as essential for both personal and professional growth.

A 500-hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher (RYT), mindfulness teacher, and facilitator, Guayana is the founder and CEO of Athena Lab for Social Change, merging personal transformation with societal impact. She has trained under the Sivananda Tradition (2008), Kula Collective (2019), and La Colmena Collective (2023). She has attended Vipassana Meditation Retreats, received the 5 Mindfulness Trainings at Deer Park Monastery, and is a trained Mindfulness Mentor through the Banyan Sangha.

In 2019, she joined the Brahma Kumaris’ Call of the Time Silent Retreat and received a Kripalu Center scholarship for Women’s Week: The Revolution Within, practicing under Angela Farmer.

Guayana teaches yoga, mindful movement, and breath-based meditation, integrating asanas, pranayama, and mudras to balance the doshas—bio-elemental energies affecting well-being. Her sessions combine intentionality, breathwork, and graceful movement, invoking nature’s elements to promote mindfulness, reduce stress, and enhance resilience.
