Leah Bissey
For Leah, yoga is more than just movement—it’s a way to reconnect with the body, quiet the mind, and create space for healing. She first came to the mat with zero expectations and soon discovered the deep transformation that yoga offers.
Leah completed her 200-hour Vinyasa Teacher Training at Arise Yoga in Brooklyn in 2024, along with a Sacred Somatic Practitioner Training, equipping her with trauma-sensitive techniques to support practitioners of all backgrounds. She also completed a 50-hour Yin Yoga certification at Ananda Yoga Detox in Thailand, deepening her expertise in nervous system regulation, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and fascia work.
Whether flowing through a dynamic Vinyasa sequence or settling into a restorative Yin pose, Leah invites students to slow down, tune in, and move with intention. Her classes weave together Pranayama, meditation, and deep relaxation, offering space for quiet awareness and self-exploration.
Leah believes yoga is about showing up with presence, kindness, and curiosity. She continues to study yogic philosophy, maintain a daily practice, and draws inspiration from the world around her. Most of all, she hopes to create a space where students feel safe and empowered on their own unique path.
