Natalie Morales
Natalie began her yoga journey in 1981 after a decade of classical ballet training, which gave her a foundation of discipline and an aversion to body-shaming. For decades, she explored all approaches to Hatha Yoga, gravitating toward the styles which embrace diversity.
Natalie started formally teaching in 1995, and eventually developed a style she calls Funyasa™, a power-vinyasa hybrid which emphasizes the joy of movement. As a teacher, she focuses on physical wellbeing through asana, mindfulness through breath-awareness, and on the importance of gratitude. Her classes are challenging and safe for all levels. She founded, owned and operated Dharma Studio in Coconut Grove for 13 years, and had fun doing it. Today, her passion is teaching Adaptive Chair Yoga for seniors, and for people in wheelchairs.
